As I sit on my bed watching Ally McBeal, I am also munching on some delicious fettuccine alfredo with chicken that I made not too long ago. To be honest, at first I thought it was gonna come out like shit. BUT, it came out much better than I had hoped!
I have some time to kill, since Tony is at school, and I'm all caught up on my school work. (It feels good to be able to say that last part!) I'm doing my best to finish up all my Ally McBeal episodes on Netflix. It's one of the best shows every, you should try it out.(:
I'm bored now, so I'll update again later!

This is basically just a random blog about my life, and what it's like while I'm in college. Sorry if you don't find it interesting, I'm not a very exciting person. I'm challenging myself to do at least one blog per day. Thanks, and Gig 'Em!(:

Sophomore Slump
I have a moment of spare time, so, I figured it would be in my interest to update whoever reads this on how my sophomore year is going so far. (Even though it's only been a week, haha.)
Here goes...
-SCHEDULE...
---MGMT 105: Even though it's an 8 AM, it's a pretty decent class. My professor is absolutely adorable, and rather hilarious if I do say so myself. I'm sure there will be several more updates on this class in the future. It looks promising.
---HIST 106: This is my professor's first year of teaching. Ever. So, I kind of feel like a class of 300+ people is a tad intimidating for her. Down side... There's a crap ton of reading. And she assigned us like, 15 expensive books. Boo on that.
---KINE 199: My step aerobics class is wonderful! I seriously look forward to that class. My teacher is so pretty. I go to class, and I'm like, dang- she's pretty...
---ANTH 202: Archaeology is for squares. Especially when it requires 70-90 pages of reading per week.
---ECON 202: Lame, lame, sleep-inducing, lame.
-LIFE...
---WORK: I got a job! EVERYONE NEEDS TO KNOW ABOUT IT BECAUSE I'M SOOOOOOO EXCITED! I'm going to be working in the eClaims Department at Schlumberger here in College Station. I'm gonna be getting accounting experience, and Schlumberger is the company that my dad has been working for since he was my age. I also get to purchase a new wardrobe, since the dress code is business casual, which I currently do not own.
---BRUCE: As you already know, Tony's roommate Tim got a Siberian Husky the other day. However, as he is an absentee parent, Tony and I have been puppysitting basically 24/7. Which has its ups and downs. I looooove playing with the cute little thing, but I'm getting a little tired of cleaning up his constant shit. Seriously, he poops everywhere. Mostly in front of Poptart's room, though. Whatever.
---TRIPLE DOUBLE OREOS: This subject has not only been brought to MY attention, but also to the attention to basically everyone I come in contact with. The whole world seriously needs to become conscious that such a thing exists, and then they need to go purchase like, 7 boxes of them, because they are MAGICAL.
-MORE LIFE...
---SLEEP: Sleep has been seriously lacking in my life as of late. I feel like a lame grandma, 'cause I'm always tired by midnight. It's getting to be rather depressing. I'm so old!
---FOOTBALL: The first A&M football game is tomorrow. I was hoping to go, but here's what happened... My mother was supposed to renew my Sports Pass. However, she did not. THEN, I find out that A&M SOLD OUT OF SPORTS PASSES. WTFFFFFFFF IS THAT?!?!?!?! As you can probably tell by my overuse of capital letters, I'm pretty freakin' pissed about it. "I'm gonna have a B.F.!!!" So, no sports for me this year. Sad life.):
---BUSES: Tony is driving A LOT. It's a bittersweet thing for me. Part of me is happy because he's making money and being responsible, but the other half of my is bummed 'cause he's always gone. Arg.
Midnight is creeping up on me, and I can feel my eyelids slowly falling, closing on the curtain on another day in the life of Shelby. Exciting isn't it? Nah. Like I said... Just another day.
Sweet dreams, fellow Bloggers.

Bruce.
School has started back up again. However, that update will just have to wait for another spare moment in time. Why? Right now, it's time for BRUCE.(:
This is Bruce. The most adorable puppy on the planet. Timmy (one of Tony's roommates who we know from high school) bought him yesterday at the puppy store. Greatest purchase ever. I'm currently puppysitting with Tony while Tm catches up on some sleep. There's only two problems with this magical dog...
- He pisses ALL DAY, ERRDAY.
- He runs into EVERYTHING.
But other than that, he's absolutely wonderful. We've been walking him, feeding him, teaching him to sit and follow, etc. I even taught him how to FETCH last night! Whoop!
He's currently running around the house chewing on stuff, and trying to fit into holes. YAY SIBERIAN HUSKIES!(:
Well, I should go now, since I should be paying more attention to le pup.
Hasta luego, Bloggers.
Shelby.
